UPDATE: Through a combination of financial resources including student contributions, donor gifts, and administrative support, our tour is nearly funded! We need your help to raise the final $20,000 in order to reach our goal. _________________________________________________________________________
This July, the 31 students of the Pepperdine Chamber Choir have the opportunity to travel to Europe to perform in major venues while experiencing the rich musical history and culture.
Included in this experience is the Prague Choral Festival, where the Chamber Choir will join with over 200 other singers from the US and Europe to present concerts in the famous Smetana Hall with professional instrumentalists as a part of Prague Proms International Music Festival. Our very own Director of Choirs, Dr. Ryan Board, will lead the international choirs in their performance.
The Chamber Choir will be prominently showcased in a stand-alone concert as a part of the festival. The choir will also travel to southern Italy to perform in and around Tuscany and will present several concerts in historically significant churches and monasteries.
The opportunity to experience this high-level music making in a historically significant context is extraordinary, but the costs per student are significant, and we need your help to open the door to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please consider helping us achieve our dream of performing in Europe!
