Want a fun an easy way to support your new home away from home while earning House Cup points?! Look no further! From now until the day of Deck the Halls (Thursday, December 3), you have the opportunity to give back and get the chance to win a cool prize for your house! One female house and one male house with the top participation percentage will win a dance party along with the Deck the Halls winners!
Tuition only covers 2/3 of what it takes to run the university -- the other 1/3 comes from donations from alumni, students, and friends. Our ranking as a university (think US News and World Report) is also dependent on our student and alumni giving rate. So, if our giving goes up, our ranking goes up and thus the value of our degrees increases.
Each house will earn House Cup points based on the percentage of freshmen who give back, PLUS it will give your house a better chance to win a dance party with the winners of Deck the Halls.If you have already given during Waves Weekend, for Project Serve or on December 1 at #GivingTuesday, have no fear! You will be counted as well!
